Gaultheria procumbens

The origin is the only difference between Gaultheria procumbens (China) and Gaultheria fragrantissima (Nepal). Wintergreen essential oil calms, relaxes and relieves. Its scent is rich and intense. Its chemical constituents, its properties and precautions are similar to Gaultheria fragrantissima. The oil is obtained after distillation of the leaves of a ground-hugging shrub from the Ericaceae botanical family. Thanks to its multiple virtues, it has been used by Amerindians for centuries.


The Plant: Provenance is the only difference between recumbent wintergreen (China) and fragrant wintergreen (Nepal). Wintergreen essential oil soothes, soothes and relieves. Its scent is deep and intense. Its chemical composition, properties and precautions are identical to those of fragrant wintergreen essential oil. The oil is obtained from the distillation of the leaves of a heather of the Ericaceae family. Due to its many virtues, it has been used by Native Americans for centuries.
