These Mengkuang coasters are handwoven by women part of a collective in a village in Terengganu, on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

Mengkuang is a species of Asian screwpine. Its leaves are harvested, dried in the sun and dyed before they are woven into coasters. Comes in a set of 2 coasters.
